We share these insights anonymously with businesses and government agencies to help them make smarter, more human-centered decisions.
The idea started with a simple question: How are people really doing? Our founder wondered—Are Mondays universally tough? How are other women like me in my city feeling? Do events like Football Sundays boost happiness? How do people feel the day after an election? In the U.S., "How are you?" often gets a default "Good" or "Fine," missing opportunities for deeper connection and understanding.
We're surrounded by real-time data for weather, air quality, and other metrics, but there's no daily "temperature check" on how we're feeling. Annual happiness surveys and broad reports feel outdated. The Real Feel bridges that gap—offering a daily wellness check for the nation.
How We Gather Data
We use a hybrid approach, blending random sampling and self-selective sampling to aggregate data as effectively as possible. Random sampling comes from trusted panel vendor partners, while our members provide first-party data by answering daily questions directly on our platform.
This combined approach ensures a representative sample across key demographic groups. To maintain transparency, we include a weekly breakdown of user attributes, so businesses know exactly what demographics are represented each week.
